    Wound Care Center® programs define a chronic nonhealing wound as one which has not demonstrated significant improvement after four weeks, or has not healed completely after eight weeks. Those most affected are people with diabetes, vascular problems or pressure ulcers and trauma wounds.

    The Wound Care Center offer a comprehensive approach to the  diagnosis treatment of chronic wounds including a coordinated continuum of care, patient education, specialized treatments of bioskins, casting and use of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.  The Wound Care Center is the sole provider in western Kansas, eastern Colorado and the Oklahoma panhandle of interdisciplinary comprehensive chronic wound management. Appointments can be scheduled with a referral from a physician. If you have insurance, an authorization from your insurance company may be required.

    The Wound Care Center is located at the Northwest corner of St. Catherine Hospital campus in the Medical Office Building, 311 E. Walnut. Please use the north entrance and parking area.
